Close to 60 days until I'll be walking the green isles and be amongst the richness of the Irish culture during their most beloved holiday. I remember when I was younger and on our refrigerator we put a Santa Clause calendar. Every day we would glue one cotton ball onto the calendar until it was Christmas Day. That same anticipation, excitement and awe is equal to what I've been feeling since I decided to do this trip. Honestly, I think I was fortunate not to have a staircase to come down when I was younger on Christmas morning because I think I would've simply fell down them every year (maybe more than just once a year).
Airline tickets, check. Place to stay will be a check by the end of the week. We are looking to stay in a cute little cottage by the Cliffs of Moher in the County of Clare. The car will be rented by the end of the month. I'm still researching and finalizing places to go and things to do.
So, I'll still be following my feet to where my heart is... in Ireland. Until March!
