A different perspective..

I'm an avid believer that good communication and understanding can surpass any obstacle as long as all parties are active participants. I mean, hello, I am a communications major. If I didn't believe that, I think it would be time to find a new major. (to say the least) But, what about those situations in which you feel like you are 100 percent right and the other person is wrong, and the argument is at a stand still? Or the situations in which you feel like everything isn't quite right. Well, I don't know if it's the way I was raised or if it's just the way I am; but I always seem to see things from both sides of the spectrum. (Yes, sometimes I don't like the other view, but I see both sides) For example, take this photo for instance, you see cows here. (yes, they are cows, not dogs or ants) These cows are standing in the pasture of my family farm, however this photo wasn't taken on the farm. This photo was taken from the mountain view that overlooks our farm. Tricky, I know! What is intriguing to me is that I see these cows once in awhile and they are just cows to me, ones I must water and fed apples to once in awhile. But, here in this photo these cows aren't my cows anymore, you can't see their numbers or notice which ones are which from this distance. These cows are apart of a bigger picture, one of which I will leave you to figure out on your own. :-)

My point is maybe we have to go somewhere else, a little further away from our (thoughts, problems,...you fill in the blank) and from a different angle to get a clearer picture. Just a thought.
